How it’s drawn

Letters on one line

  1. The dots

    Each dot is a small diamond sitting on the line with a gap around it: above the letter when its dots are above, below it when they are below.

  2. The letters

    Every letter takes its own form at the start, middle and end of the name. Teeth are sharp bars, loops are open diamonds, and tall letters rise thin from the line.

  3. The name

    The name is written under the shape in Amiri or Reem Kufi, lightly engraved into the surface, and its letters can be stretched.
